Provide Externship Clinical Experience

Internships provide valuable hands-on experience leading to certification for our trainees and provide employers with the opportunity to see an employee in action. Many Caroline Center graduates are hired by the company or organization that provided the internship or clinical experience. Certified nursing assistants must fulfill a 40-hour clinical internship in a long-term care facility under the supervision of a nurse preceptor. Pharmacy technicians are required to have 120 hours in a pharmacy before being certified. If you are interested in providing an internship or being a clinical site for a Caroline Center alumna, contact

Conduct Mock Interviews

Prior to graduation our trainees practice interviewing skills.  Employers and community partners are invited to spend a few hours giving the students an experience of a “real” interview.  This is a 2-hour commitment each 15-week session.  If you are interested in this opportunity contact:

Join an Employer Panel

Each session we invite a group of employers, usually the HR manager or pharmacy manager, to speak with the trainees about the reality of what employers are looking for in an employee. This is a chance for the trainees to hear firsthand what makes the critical difference between being an 'OK' employee and being an employee who will move ahead in her career. If you would be interested in being part of such a panel contact:

Share Your Story

Share your professional story with Caroline Center trainees. They benefit immensely when they are able to hear directly from company managers about what it takes to be a successful employee. If you would be interested in sharing your story contact: Katie Sheffield
